Another LMS with LTI 1.3
Connect any LMS that supports LTI 1.3, by hand.
Most LMSs that support LTI 1.3 can connect to Flash Reference by hand. If yours supports registration URLs (Dynamic Registration), use the Registration URL from Settings → LTI 1.3 instead: paste it where your LMS asks for one, and you're done.
Give your LMS these details
- Login (OIDC initiation) URL:
https://flash-reference.com/lti/1p3 - Redirect URI and target link URI:
https://flash-reference.com/lti/1p3 - Public keyset (JWKS) URL:
https://flash-reference.com/lti/jwks - Deep linking (content selection): on, at
https://flash-reference.com/lti/1p3 - Share names and email addresses with the tool.
- Custom parameter:
flash_reference_org, set to the value shown in Settings → LTI 1.3. Launches without it are refused.
Then tell Flash Reference about your LMS
In Settings → LTI 1.3 → Connect by hand, enter the Issuer, Client ID, Authentication request URL, Access token URL and Public keyset (JWKS) URL your LMS shows for the new tool, and select Connect.
Leave the Deployment ID blank to accept all of your institution's deployments of the tool. Blackboard uses one client ID for every institution, so for Blackboard enter the deployment ID it gives you.
Adding decks to a course
Instructors add Flash Reference to their course, and choose the deck from a list. See Adding a deck to your course.
