Account emails
The emails we send about your trial, plan and student limit, and who gets them.
Flash Reference emails your organization about its account. These go to the people with the Billing role, or to your admins if nobody has it. They can't be turned off, because they're about keeping students' access running.
| When | |
|---|---|
| Welcome to Flash Reference! | A few minutes after you sign up, to the person who signed up. |
| Your trial ends … | About a week before your free trial ends, and again the day before. |
| Students can no longer open your decks | When your trial or plan has ended and students can't open your decks from your LMS. |
| … is close to its plan's student limit | When active students reach 90% of your plan's limit. |
| … is over its plan's student limit | When active students go over the limit, then monthly while it lasts. |
| Join … on Flash Reference | To each person you invite. |
Emails instructors get
Deck owners also get When a deck gets its first student and Weekly results, which they can turn off. See Emails and announcements. As an admin who owns decks, you get these too.
Announcements
We sometimes send news about Flash Reference, like new features or planned maintenance, to admins, instructors or both. They come by email and in the bell at the top of the admin and instructor dashboards. Each person can turn either off in Notification settings, from the menu under their name. See Emails and announcements.
