Connecting your LMS

Moodle with LTI 1.3

Connect Moodle 4.1 or later with LTI 1.3, using a registration URL.

You'll need to be an admin in Flash Reference and a site administrator in Moodle.

Connect with a registration URL

  1. In Flash Reference, open Settings → LTI 1.3 and copy the Registration URL.
  2. In Moodle, go to Site administration → Plugins → Activity modules → External tool → Manage tools.
  3. Paste the registration URL into Tool URL and select Add LTI Advantage.
  4. When Flash Reference says it's connected, select Close.
  5. Activate the new tool in Moodle's list of tools.

The registration URL works for a week, and a new one appears each time you open the tab.

Adding decks to a course

Teachers add an External tool activity, choose Flash Reference, and use Select content to choose a deck. See Adding a deck to your course.
